Clicking a pen. Popping bubble wrap. Drawing squiggles on a piece of paper. Humans love to fidget.

Thanks to the Fidget Cube, there’s now a way to release your stress without annoying everyone around you. The pocket-sized cube has six sides with various tactile surfaces.

There are clickable buttons, a movable joystick, a spinnable wheel, turnable gears and a switch for you to fidget with. Even though it might not have a different effect than squeezing a stress ball, it’s probably a lot more fun.

I’m not much of a fidgeter myself, and got pretty nervous watching the promotional video which shows the creators clicking and rolling the product in various ways. However, I can’t help but be annoyed at people nervously tapping their feet or biting their nails. If this helps them do it quietly, I’m game.

All in all, it looks like a great solution for the restless.
